Winter 2026 MetFix Boise Assessments Summary
Congratulations to everyone at MetFix Boise!
Since our Fitness Training from 5/10/25 (6/2/25 when we combined with CrossFit Magni) to 1/2/26 resulted in improvements in our Overall Fitness and Health.
We had 72 Individual Category Level Up’s (compared to 84 in Spring 2025) among 27 of us (who had established Overall Fitness Levels prior to, or established them during 1/5/26-1/17/26) who took part in the Assessments this go around.
We assessed for these 7 Categories (compared to years previous of all 15 in 1 Assessment Period):
Front Squat
Upper Body Pull
Lactic Tolerance
Neurological and Core Endurance
Rings
Weightlifting
Rowing
That is an average of 2.667 Individual Category Level Up’s per person (compared to 7.636 in our Spring 2025 Assessments).
We had Overall Level Promotions for:
Bryan W., Orange II to Brown II
Dan T., Yellow III to Orange I
Duane O., Orange to Orange II
Ian K., Blue II to Purple
Jenn W., Blue I to Purple II
Joe G., Blue III to Purple I
Katie P., Blue II to Purple II

We had RED ELITE Level Achievements for:
Desiree F., Lactic Tolerance, Blue II to RED II (Fran in 4:03)
Tom M., Weightlifting, RED I to RED II (220-lb. Snatch, 300-lb. Clean and Jerk)
With everyone’s levels averaged, our Gym Avatar Overall Fitness Level as of 1/17/26 is Orange III, same as it was as of 5/24/25 (Orange III).
Our Relative Strength (Strength to Bodyweight ratio) went up from Blue to Blue I.
Our Objective (Absolute) Strength went up from Blue to Blue III.
Our Electricity (Central Nervous System ability) went up from Blue to Blue I.
Our Plumbing (Cellular Fueling) went up from Blue to Blue I.
Our Ventilation (Oxygen and Breathing) went up from Blue I to Blue II.
Our average of 2.667 Individual Category Level Up’s (out of 7) per person might have been higher if some of us were able to make it all 12 days to attempt to re-Assess the 7 Categories (family or work trips, sicknesses, etc.).
Since 5/24/25, we as a whole went up in 10 of the 15 categories on the Level MAP, went down in 1, and stayed the same in 4.
Our Front Squat went up from Orange III to Blue I.
Our Upper Body Pull went up from Blue to Blue I.
Our Lactic Tolerance went up from Orange II to Blue.
Our Deadlift went up from Blue to Blue II.
Our Upper Body Push is the same at Blue.
Our Upper/Lower Endurance went up from Orange II to Orange III.
Our Weightlifting went up from Blue II to Purple I.
Our Rings is the same at Orange III.
Our Squat Endurance is the same at Blue II.
Our Neurological and Core Endurance went down from Blue to Orange III.
Our Kettlebell went up from Blue I to Blue III.
Our Flexibility went up from Blue II to Blue III.
Our Running is the same at Blue II.
Our Rowing went up from Orange III to Blue II.
Our Aerobic Power Intervals went up from Blue I to Blue II.
We assessed 7 Categories over 2 weeks (12 days).
The growth or stagnation in the other 7 Categories were due to the first sets of Assessments in Summer 2025 when we first combined gyms and the subsequent Assessments of other Teammates who have joined us since then, and/or who are still working on completing all Assessments of 15 Categories.
Our last half of 2025 of Training centered on General Physical Preparedness Training to create a Broad, General, and Inclusive Fitness in the gym, for us to handle the Unknown and Unknowable outside the gym.
Single-Modality Days included doing only these on certain days:
1. Monostructural/Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance and Stamina [M]
2. Gymnastics (Strength) [G]
3. Weightlifting (Strength) [W]
Couplet Days included combinations of the above, for example: MG, or MW, or WG, etc. in all kinds of time durations, from Short, to Medium, to Long.
Triplet Days included combinations of the above, for example: MGW, or GWM, or WMG, etc. in all kinds of time durations, from Short, to Medium, to Long.
We are looking forward to the next 10 weeks of training (1/19/26-3/28/26)!
